As the European regulation on packaging (PPWR) comes into full effect, Union Plastic confirms the compliance of its Medical Devices and Primary Packaging. An official statement is now available for download.
European Regulation 2025/40 on Packaging and Packaging Waste (PPWR) introduces new requirements across the entire production and distribution chain. In response to growing client requests, Union Plastic declares that all its Medical Devices and Primary Packaging comply with the PPWR, as well as with REACH, Regulations 10/2011, 1935/2004, and the US Code of Federal Regulations Food and Drugs Title 21.
These products are guaranteed free from Bisphenols, Heavy Metals, PFAS, and Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) — a guarantee that also extends to manufacturing processes.
